Something New

So I doubt anyone is going to read this, but its worth a shot. I have never kept a blog before. Hell, I couldn't keep a journal when I was younger, what makes me think I can keep one now. My motivation to attempt this is college. I found a website that awards a 10,000 dollar scholarship every year to some high school blogger around the country. My odds are slim, but thats a lot of money and its worth a shot.

Yes, college is just around the corner. Its a little overwhelming. I'm a seventeen year old kid, I'm ready to leave. At least thats what I keep telling myself. My parents are such pains in the ass about it, my mom is the one who insisted that I start this blog. Then she found it necessary to veto everything I thought of for a title. Classic parents. I love them but I'm ready to get out of here. I don't know if this is the type of thing that is expected to be posted on this forum, but its worth a shot.
